SING FOR JOY! CONCERT
The program opened with our newly composed theme song SING FOR JOY! composed by Don Freund❤️! We followed with What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love! And What is this thing called Love? and Just the Way you Look Tonight. We included audience sing-a-longs Ain’t She Sweet and Let Me Call You Sweetheart.
We are so fortunate to have professionally trained singers in our choir. Connie Shakalis was featured in ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE and MY FUNNY VALENTINE, Tom King In LOVE’S OLD SWEET SONG and Mary Carol Reardon In ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. But the real stars of SING FOR JOY! are the choristers that have never sung in a choir before and are finding their voice for the first time and our members that are living with dementia.
We truly are a welcoming inclusive community choir!
