9.3 million older adults in America face the threat of hunger daily. That’s 1 in 6 older adults. Kind of startling, right? Well, there’s good news.
YOU CAN HELP!
Area 10 Agency is partnering with Hoosier Hills Food Bank to compete for a $60,000 grant through Walmart’s “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” Campaign. Hoosier Hills food bank will use this grant to fund the PBJ Project which will provide enough food to supply ALL of our food pantry clients with peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for a whole year!
So what can YOU do? Vote and share. That’s all it takes. Go to the voting page and cast your vote for Hoosier Hills Food Bank and be sure to share the info with your friends on your favorite social media channel. Voting will be open from September 15th-October 5th and you may cast your vote every 24 hours.
