Anyone Can Ride

Rural Transit offers bus service to everyone! You can ride no matter your age or physical abilities! Rural Transit’s Services, link rural areas with towns. Using these services, you can:

  • Go shopping at the mall, drugstore or the grocery.
  • See your doctor or insurance agent.
  • Visit friends or State Parks.
  • Access universities and Ivy Tech, hospitals, employment and much more.

Door to Door Service

Please call 3-5 days in advance of your trip to schedule. A reservation is required. Wheelchair lift (ADA Compliant) is available.

Rural Transit is a Medicaid transit provider under Area 10 Council on Aging. Please contact Verida @ (855) 325-7586 or WellTrans @ (866) 982-3983. Fares are expected at the time of service. Passes are available and may be purchased from the driver. Cash or check only.
