Time Travels 2015
Krista Detor presents the 4th Annual Time Travels: Soaring in the Second Act, as part of the Creative Aging Festival, a feature of the Reimagining Aging Symposium, and a benefit for The Endwright Center, a program of Area 10 Agency on Aging.
This multicultural, multigenerational celebration of creativity is hosted by Krista Detor and features special guest Chuck Rainey, who will perform along with Rod Taylor, Malcolm Abrams, Gladys DeVane, Ella Poletti, Storyzilla Storytellers, and other surprise guests!
Chuck Rainey’s bass lines have laid the foundation for many of the most popular songs in pop, rock, jazz and fusion that emerged from the 60s, 70s and 80s. From Aretha Franklin to Marvin Gaye to Steely Dan and The Jackson 5, he’s played an integral part in the music of at least five Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. As a result, he is celebrated as the most recorded bassist in the history of recorded music.
